Mobilizon and Mastodon¶

Mastodon is a free and open-source software platform for decentralized social networking with microblogging features. It operates as a federated network of independently managed servers that communicate using the ActivityPub protocol, allowing users to connect across different instances within the Fediverse (see https://joinmastodon.org).

Mastodon has not been designed to manage events, but it can understand ActivityPub "Event" message and show events in user's threads.

Follow a Mobilizon group from Mastodon¶

With a Mastodon profile, you can follow a group from a Mobilizon instance. Then all the events from this group will appear in your Mastodon thread. You can share them to your followers.

If you comment those event notifications in Mastodon, this comment will be published in Mobilizon comment part too.
