ActivityPub: the Fediverse protocol¶

ActivityPub is a protocol and open standard for decentralized social networking.

ActivityPub is the defining standard of the Fediverse, a decentralised social network of various social interaction models, and content types, which consists of independently managed instances of software.

Mobilizon implements different messages for ActivityPub protocol, in particular "Event" messages whose allow to share items caracterized by a begin and end date (See Federation with ActivityPub).

Mobilizon and other software who have implemented ActivityPub protocol can share events and interact with each other.
