Import events in Mobilizon¶

Mobilizon event importer by Dindy (under active development)¶

A web application that allows you to import events into Mobilizon. The tool allows you to connect to any Mobilizon account and publish to a personal account or in a group.

Tips for instance administrator:

• add the import tool as an external link,

• add the instance domain to the URL for a more intuitive user experience, like for example https://import.mobilizon.webworkers.agency/?domain=https://mobilizon.fr.

Tip for users:

• if you use Chrome on Android, you can install the app on your phone home screen with this tutorial. Then you can share webpages with the import tool, same as you would do with Telegram, Whatsapp, Mastodon, etc.

Create a Mobilizon event from a webpage¶

Import an event into Mobilizon from its URL. The import supports facebook, helloasso, dice, shotgun, eventbrite and will do its best to create an event from an instagram post. Or from any webpage, the tool will try to find the standard meta tags and structured event data schema.org in the json-ld scripts to create the event.

The import tries to retrieve as much data as possible (dates and times, title, description, cover, address, GPS coordinates, link to the ticketing and organizers) and allows you to modify them before registration with an intuitive interface.

Create Mobilizon events by subscribing to a calendar or facebook group¶

Using automatic import, you can subscribe to a calendar (ICS / Icalendar / Ical) or to a facebook group. New events will be regularly fetched. Note that Facebook only allows to fetch ten events at once.

Mobilizon event importer by kaihuri (low maintenance)¶

This tool allows to crawl and import events from 3^rd-party platforms and post them on Mobilizon or call webhooks.
Users can set up synchronisations between groups from sources and destinations so that new events are periodically checked and automatically published. Supported sources: Meetup, Eventbrite, ICS feeds and any platform providing Schema.org JSON-LD metadata
