Instance personalization¶

First, you need to go to the "Instances" administration section.

1. Click on your profile picture
2. Click on Administration
3. Click on Instance settings to see the parameters list

Personnalize your instance¶

In this section, you can change the instance :

• name
• short description (displayed on homepage and meta tags, single paragraph)
• slogan
• contact information (an email, a link, or just plain text)
• logo (image)
• favicon (image)
• default picture (for groups and event)
• registration status (open or close)
• languages (spoken by you or moderators)
• long description
• rules (your code of conduct)
• terms (contractual)
• privacy policy

Custom categories¶

It is currently not possible to customize categories in the admin panel.

If you need additionnal categories, it can be done with the :extra_categories config parameter.

I you need a new set of categories, it is necessary to patch the application sources and built it from sources.

This customization must be completed before creating any events, as the database should only reference the categories declared in the application.
